Mall security staff in Çerkezköy hospitalized after meal
Eight security personnel working at a shopping mall in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ were admitted to the hospital following their evening meal due to suspected food poisoning.
Security guards working at a shopping mall in Çerkezköy began experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain and nausea shortly after consuming a meal containing chicken during their evening shift. Following the onset of these symptoms, the situation was reported to emergency response teams.
Health teams and police arrived at the scene shortly after the report. The eight security guards, who received initial medical intervention from the health teams, were transported to the hospital by ambulance due to suspected food poisoning and were placed under treatment. It was stated that the personnel are not in life-threatening condition.
While police teams continue their investigation into the incident, samples were taken from the food consumed by the security staff and sent for laboratory analysis. As part of the investigation, the catering company that prepared the meal and the mall's kitchen were also subjected to inspections.
Meanwhile, authorities issued warnings to businesses regarding food safety and announced that measures would be increased to prevent similar incidents. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
