Minister Koca announces: Calendar for the appointment of 35,000 healthcare workers is set

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca answered questions from members of the press following the Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Palace.

"35,000 NEW COLLEAGUES WILL JOIN US"

Upon a question regarding whether there would be new healthcare worker recruitment, Minister Koca stated, "Our President gave the good news. 35,000 new colleagues will join us. Both in terms of effectively maintaining existing health services and meeting the personnel needs of our newly opened hospitals, these 35,000 new hires will add strength to our power."

"THERE WILL BE NO INTERVIEWS, ALL CANDIDATES WILL COMPETE EQUALLY"

Answering a question about whether there is a date for the personnel recruitment, Minister Koca noted the following:

"The calendar has started as of today. The personnel recruitment has been signed. We want to send the guide to ÖSYM this week. As you know, there are no interviews in the recruitment process. All candidates will compete under equal conditions. We will have a total of 35,000 new colleagues, including 15,000 nurses and 8,000 service personnel. We will announce the branch distribution and the final calendar with the guide we are preparing together with ÖSYM. I believe we will be able to complete it within a week. May it be auspicious in advance."

"ANTALYA CITY HOSPITAL WILL BE PUT INTO SERVICE AT FULL CAPACITY"

Fahrettin Koca, in response to another journalist's question, "Is there a new city hospital?", said that the Antalya City Hospital would be put into service at full capacity within a few weeks.

Reminding that the hospital has started accepting patients, Koca stated, "The official opening of our Antalya City Hospital will likely be held by our President within the next 2-3 weeks."
