The Amazing Oriental supermarket chain, which operates in the Netherlands, has determined that Beleaf-branded lychee-flavored black tea contains pesticide levels exceeding legal limits based on tests conducted. This situation has led to a product recall due to the potential health risks posed by the tea.
Beleaf Lychee-Flavored Black Tea is sold in 37.5-gram packages, with an expiration date of September 28, 2027. The product, identified by code number 94604, has been offered for sale both in physical stores and on online platforms.
Laboratory analyses revealed that the tea contains amounts of pesticides that could be harmful to human health. For this reason, it is recommended that consumers do not use this product and return it to the nearest Amazing Oriental store.
