Breaking News... Another lieutenant's dismissal overturned by the judiciary
The Ankara 21st Administrative Court has ruled to revoke the disciplinary penalty imposed on Lieutenant Fatih Kaya, a graduate of the Military Academy, for reciting the Officer's Oath. The reinstatement of Lieutenant Deniz Demirtaş, who was dismissed in a similar manner, had also previously come to the agenda.
A critical decision has been reached in the lawsuit filed against the disciplinary penalty imposed on Lieutenant Fatih Kaya, who recited the Officer's Oath by drawing his sword during the official graduation ceremony of the Military Academy held on August 30 last year.
The court decided to revoke the disciplinary action taken against Kaya and indicated that the situations of other officers in similar circumstances could be re-evaluated.
Previously, the decision regarding the dismissal of Deniz Demirtaş from the Turkish Armed Forces had also been annulled by the same court.
