Caught with narcotic pills during prison visit: Mother arrested

In an incident in Akşehir, Konya, F.Ç., the mother of A.Ç., who is incarcerated at the Akşehir T-Type Closed and Open Penal Institution for drug-related offenses, arrived at the prison to visit her son. During a routine search conducted by correctional officers before the visit, F.Ç. drew attention with her suspicious behavior, and approximately 18 narcotic pills were found hidden in her chest area.

Correctional officers documented the incident and confiscated the pills. Subsequently, F.Ç. was taken into custody by police teams called to the prison, and an investigation was launched against her for the crimes of "using narcotic or stimulant substances" and "trafficking in narcotic or stimulant substances."

After completing her processing at the police station, F.Ç. was referred to the courthouse, where she was brought before the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest following her interrogation at the Akşehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. By court order, F.Ç. was arrested and sent to prison.
