Court rules for continued detention in Ayşe Tokyaz murder case

In the third hearing of the case concerning the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz, held at the Küçükçekmece 2nd High Criminal Court, the decision regarding the current status of the detained defendants was announced.
The court panel ruled that the defendants' detention should continue and announced that the next session of the trial will be held on September 9.
At the court, following an evaluation of the evidence in the case, the requests for release were denied on the grounds that there is a possibility of the defendants fleeing or tampering with evidence. The defendants will await the next hearing while remaining in custody in prison.
