Call for justice from Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi's mother! 'This law must be changed'

Yasemin Minguzzi, the mother of Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life in a brutal knife attack in Kadıköy Hasanpaşa, has expressed her concerns regarding the potential early release of her son's killer and the other assailant who kicked him while he was on the ground, due to them being under the age of 18, and has called for support in their legal struggle.

In her statement, Minguzzi said the following:

"We thank everyone who has supported us in this legal battle we have entered for my dear son, my flower Ahmet. We want you to know that the law we are striving to change is to guarantee the future of all our children. None of us are safe without a deterrent sanction. Please, do not let this incident be forgotten, not just for Ahmet, but by thinking of all the children of my beautiful country who are raised like flowers, and please support us."

Ahmet Minguzzi's killers face the possibility of early release under current laws on the grounds that they are under 18. Yasemin Minguzzi stated that they are fighting for the law to be changed, emphasizing that this situation threatens the safety of not only her own family but all families.
