He had posted about the Justice Minister's brother! Lawyer Bekiroğlu released

Lawyer Burak Bekiroğlu had been detained following posts he made on his social media account regarding Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç and his brother. After giving his statement to the prosecutor's office, Bekiroğlu was arrested by the court to which he was referred with a request for his detention.

It has now been learned that Bekiroğlu has been released.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Lawyer Burak Bekiroğlu was detained after making posts on social media regarding allegations that Yahya Tunç, the lawyer brother of Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, had 1,453 ByLock records, and was subsequently arrested on charges of 'slander' and 'insulting a public official'.

HE HAD CALLED ON THE ISTANBUL CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

In a post on his social media account, Bekiroğlu called on the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to take action, claiming that Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç's brother, Yahya Tunç, had 1,454 ByLock records, and mentioning that he had participated in FETÖ's overseas trips and had an account at Bank Asya. He had stated, "An arrest warrant should be issued for the individual."

In another post, Bekiroğlu had written, "The individual is the minister's brother. Let's stay silent. It's done. Heaven forbid, the individual is the minister's brother, stay silent, gentlemen. Let's all swallow it together. We are afraid, aren't we? We are just jokers, aren't we? Get out of here."
