A new development has occurred in the investigation initiated by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into Bolu Municipality on allegations of "extortion by coercion." Within the scope of the investigation, which is examining bribery allegations through the BOLSEV Foundation, arrest warrants were issued for Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan and Deputy Mayor Süleyman Can.

Last month, during an operation conducted against Bolu I Love You Social Assistance and Solidarity Inc. (BOLSEV A.Ş.), which is affiliated with the BOLSEV Foundation, some members of the company's board of directors were arrested.

Following the judicial proceedings, it was ruled that a temporary board of trustees be appointed to manage BOLSEV A.Ş., which is at the center of the operations. The board of trustees includes lawyer Zuhal Demirci and accountant Nursel Bozkan Koç. It was learned that the board began its duties at the company headquarters on Friday, May 8.
