Judges' Union case adjourned
The court process in the case filed by the Ankara Governor's Office regarding the "declaration of nullity" of the Judges' Union has been adjourned due to improper service of process. The preliminary hearing will be held on November 20.
The hearing for the "determination of nullity" case filed by the Ankara Governor's Office against the Judges' Union was held at the Ankara 18th Labor Court.
The Judges' Union President, members of the Board of Directors, and lawyers were present at the first hearing held following the reversal decision by the Court of Cassation.
After it was determined that previous notifications were served improperly, the court served notice to the Union's representatives and granted them time to submit evidence and responses.
The court decided to hold the preliminary hearing in the next session and adjourned the case to November 20 at 13:30.
