Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announces: 968 new courts to be established
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç has announced that the establishment of 968 new courts has been decided through a decree on permanent jurisdiction. Of these courts, 574 will be civil courts.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that it has been decided to put 968 courts into operation as part of the permanent jurisdiction work completed by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK).
In a statement on his social media account, Minister Tunç noted that the permanent jurisdiction work regarding judges in regional courts of justice as well as in the first and second regions has been completed.
Stating that a total of 3,848 jurisdiction arrangements were made within this scope and that it was also decided to establish new courts, Tunç said, "It has been decided to put a total of 968 courts into operation, 574 of which are civil courts. I hope the decisions we have taken will be beneficial for our judicial community, our country, and our nation."
