Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı's father speaks out: Shocking words for Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and her mother

In the tragic incident that occurred on Sıddık Street in Ümraniye on March 19, an argument broke out among a group of young people who had gathered after Vahap Canbay, from the music group Canbay & Wolker, called Kubilay Kundakçı for help to gain support from his ex-girlfriend, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, with whom he wanted to reconcile. It was reported that during the clash among the crowd gathered in front of the studio, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu opened fire with a gun, and 21-year-old Kundakçı lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.

Speaking after the first hearing of the judicial process initiated following the incident, father Cemil Kundakçı shared his feelings and observations regarding what happened in the courtroom with the public.

Stating that he "responded harshly when Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu referred to him as 'Brother Cemil' during the hearing," Cemil Kundakçı also included the following statements:

“When Aleyna was speaking in court, she started to tear up when the subject turned to Kubilay and used the term 'Brother Cemil.' I reacted by saying, 'Do not call me brother.' They are fake; the mother and daughter are acting very well. In my opinion, Aleyna became involved with Canbay to enter the music industry; she used him. Kubilay showed so much brotherly support to Aleyna. Kubilay would even carry her sick sister down the stairs on his back. Before Bodrum, Aleyna also had a concert in Fethiye. Kubilay took her to the concert. He took great care of her, he was like a brother to her. But Aleyna used the word 'errand boy' for my son. When we heard this, we were struck a second time. It seems she took advantage of my son's good intentions and helpful nature... Aleyna had made a statement while she was dating Canbay. She said, 'When I break up with a boyfriend, if I have a problem, I inform my new boyfriend so he can do what is necessary.' The girl has such a psychopathic side to her... Now, the statement she made regarding that boyfriend issue came into play after she broke up with Canbay, and she applied it, which led to my son's death.”
