New development regarding Güllü's death: Discovery reports are awaited
As the investigation into the death of singer Güllü in Yalova deepens, audio analyses and discovery reports are being awaited.
Gül Tut, known by her stage name Güllü, a well-known name in Arabesque music, lost her life on September 26 after falling from the window of her 6th-floor apartment in the Çınarcık district of Yalova.
Within the scope of the investigation launched following the incident, work is continuing under the leadership of Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor Duygu Bayar Öksüz. To deepen the investigation, an additional prosecutor has been assigned to the case, bringing the total number of prosecutors to three.
Chief Prosecutor Öksüz drew attention to the importance of audio analyses and discovery reports for clarifying the incident. Security camera footage from the scene was sent first to Bursa, then to the Ankara Criminal Police Laboratory, and finally to TÜBİTAK for audio analysis. Meeting with experts at the TÜBİTAK facilities in Gebze, Öksüz stated that work is ongoing to enhance the audio and identify the individuals involved. She also expressed that intensive efforts are being made to produce transcripts of the conversations.
Chief Prosecutor Öksüz said, "We are working meticulously to leave no room for doubt in the investigation. We are examining every detail thoroughly and are awaiting the discovery report and audio analysis results, which are the most important." The investigation into Güllü's death will gain clarity once all these details are illuminated.
