Statement from Kılıçdaroğlu's administration following the operation at Silivri Municipality

The operation conducted at Silivri Municipality in the morning hours has become a major topic of discussion. Following the operation, the team of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who assumed the CHP chairmanship by court decision, shared their first reaction to the matter with the public. Müslim Sarı, the spokesperson for the CHP administration, used the following expressions in his statement:

"We are closely monitoring the investigation and detention process carried out against our Silivri Municipality.

The rule of law, the presumption of innocence, and the right to a fair trial are the indispensable fundamental principles of a democratic state governed by the rule of law.

We will continue to follow the process to ensure it is conducted transparently, impartially, and within the framework of legal rules, away from political debates."

In the party administration's statement, emphasis was placed on the necessity for the judicial process to proceed fairly and impartially. Attention was drawn to the importance of remaining free from political interference in the judicial process and adhering to the principles of a state governed by the rule of law.
