Violence in schools is escalating: 11 students beat a girl

On November 30, in the courtyard of a primary school in the Merkez neighborhood of Serik, a group of 11 students, consisting of both boys and girls, threatened and then beat a female student. The student who was subjected to the violence told her family about the situation, and the family filed a complaint with the police.

The police determined that the incident had been recorded on a mobile phone and, after reviewing the footage, took the statements of the 11 students. The students were released after their statements were taken. The Serik District Directorate of National Education has also launched an investigation into the incident.

The footage shows the group of students attacking the girl with kicks and punches, and dragging her by her hair after knocking her to the ground. Additionally, a male student can be seen smoking while watching the fight, and some students can be heard using phrases such as "Hit her well," "Smash her head on the ground," and "Hit her, don't show mercy."
