Balloon celebration in Tuzla for 5-year-old Almira who beat cancer

A meaningful celebration will be held in Tuzla for 5-year-old Almira, who has clung to life again after beating cancer. Following a call made on social media by Almira's mother, Leman Rüzgar, Tuzla Mayor Atty. Eren Ali Bingöl met with Almira and invited the citizens of Tuzla to the celebration on March 22.

Having successfully completed her treatment process, Almira expressed that she wanted to release balloons in Tuzla to make her dream come true and celebrate with joy. Upon this request from Almira, the Tuzla Municipality organized a special event.

In a post on the social media platform X, Almira's mother, Leman Rüzgar, addressed Tuzla Mayor Atty. Eren Ali Bingöl and the Tuzla Municipality, saying, "This time, balloons are flying for Almira at Tuzla Square on March 22. Almira beat cancer. Will you join us with a balloon on her birthday?"

Responding to the call from Almira's mother, Rüzgar, Mayor Bingöl met with Almira and invited all residents of Tuzla to the event to be held at the Tuzla Coastal Ceremony Area on Sunday, March 22.

Stating that Almira has beaten cancer and they want to hold a celebration in Tuzla, Mayor Bingöl said, "We are coming together at the Tuzla Coastal Ceremony Area on March 22 at 14.00 to celebrate her victory over cancer. We are by Almira's side until the end of this hopeful journey. I look forward to seeing all our neighbors from Tuzla."
