Body of DJ Gökay Tevlek, who died in the Beşiktaş fire, released from the morgue
The body of DJ Gökay Tevlek, who lost his life in the fire in Beşiktaş, has been received by his family from the forensic medicine institute.
In Beşiktaş's Gayrettepe district, 29 people lost their lives in a fire that broke out at a nightclub undergoing renovations.
The body of DJ Gökay Tevlek, who lost his life, was released from the forensic medicine institute. His father, who collected his son's body, spoke to the cameras.
Stating that there was a wound on his son's chin, the father said, "I just saw it, there is a wound on his chin. We don't know what happened, my heart is burning. He was 47 years old and worked as a DJ. There was work going on there yesterday, he was in charge of them. The doctor says he was in bad shape when he arrived," he said.
Tevlek, who lost his life, will be laid to rest at the Bahçeköy Cemetery following funeral services held after the afternoon prayer at the Sarıyer Çayırbaşı Central Mosque.
