Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requests additional examination regarding Hande Erçel's drug test

Details regarding test results continue to emerge in the drug investigation involving famous figures. While the results for Hande Erçel, Burak Elmas, and Fikret Orman, who were tested as part of the investigation, were announced as negative, prohibited substances were detected in some other individuals.

It was stated that cocaine and its metabolites were found in the hair samples of actor İbrahim Çelikkol. Similarly, cocaine was detected in singer Mustafa Ceceli. In the blood of musician İlkay Şencan, THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, was found.

According to Hande Erçel's test result, morphine, codeine, and metabolites of these substances, as well as codeine glucuronide, were detected in her urine. Additionally, the active pharmaceutical ingredient paracetamol was also present in the samples.

Furthermore, no drugs were found in the tests of Fikret Orman and Burak Elmas.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has requested a detailed examination from the 5th Specialized Board of the Council of Forensic Medicine to determine whether the morphine, codeine, and metabolites of these substances found in Hande Erçel's test—which was otherwise negative—were due to medication use.
