The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy thunderstorms in İzmir, Muğla, and Aydın, urging citizens to take precautions against potential negative impacts.
A warning for heavy thunderstorms has been issued for İzmir, Muğla, and Aydın. According to the statement from the General Directorate of Meteorology, local heavy thunderstorms are expected in the inland parts of İzmir and Aydın, as well as the northern parts of Muğla, over a 3-hour period.
Citizens are advised to be careful and take precautions against potential negative impacts such as flash floods, inundation, lightning strikes, hail, strong winds and storms during precipitation, and disruptions to transportation.
