Juliana Marins, a 26-year-old Brazilian who was climbing Mount Rinjani, one of Indonesia's popular volcanoes, fell from a cliff approximately 500 meters high on June 21 and tumbled into the volcano. Reaching Marins, who tried to survive for four days following the accident, was delayed due to difficult weather and terrain conditions. Unfortunately, the young woman's lifeless body was only reached by search and rescue teams four days after the incident.

It has emerged that Marins was in contact with her family and shared emotional messages just before her death. In the heartbreaking messages, it was seen that Juliana expressed her love for her loved ones and her gratitude toward them.

"I FELT BRAVE"

The program Fantastico, broadcast in Brazil, shared the last message Marins sent to her mother with the public.

The young woman's words drew attention:

“Mommy, I love you so much. My heart broke when we said goodbye. Actually, the only thing that worries me is disappointing you, my father, and my sister. Other than that, I am not afraid. As the daughter of a woman who encouraged me to bravely follow my dreams, I am the same.”

Expressing her gratitude for her family's support, Marins used the phrase, “This is what keeps me from being a coward.”

According to Brazilian media, the unfortunate traveler's body is being brought to her home country of Brazil. The events following the accident have resonated deeply in both Brazil and Indonesia.
