First statement from Gönül Yazar after being hospitalized: 'I was left all alone'

It has been announced that Gönül Yazar, the artist nicknamed the 'Porcelain Doll' of Turkish Classical Music, was hospitalized due to a blood clot in her leg.

Yazar, whose health condition was a matter of concern, spoke to journalist Olcay Ünal Sert.

'MY VOCALIST TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL'

Yazar said, "The night before last, a pain suddenly struck. I didn't know what to do. The person who works for me had gone to Kayseri for a funeral. Afterwards, I called my former vocalist, and she took me to the hospital. Turkey's Gönül is all alone! Can you imagine?"

'WE DID NOT COME TO THIS WORLD TO STAY FOREVER'

Stating that her financial situation is good, the artist said, "I have savings from my nightclub days. I am not dependent on anyone. The house I live in in Ortaköy has become very expensive. I will donate it to LÖSEV. We did not come to this world to stay forever. When the time comes, we will depart from this world."

'I HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO SKIN AND BONES'

Stating that swelling had formed on the left side of her abdomen and on her leg, Gönül Yazar is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Topkapı.

Saying that she learned there was a blood clot in her leg after hospital examinations, Yazar said, "I was in the hospital again 20 days ago. Unfortunately, my left leg swelled up like three legs. There was a clot in my leg. Before that, I was having 2 blood-thinning injections every day. I was also taking 9 pills every day. I lost 6 kilos. Right now, I have been reduced to skin and bones."
