Dilan Polat has been admitted to a psychiatric clinic!

Dilan Polat, who previously made headlines over accusations of money laundering and tax evasion and spent 10 months in prison, announced in a statement on her social media account that she has checked into a clinic to receive psychological support.

Polat stated that she has begun the treatment process alongside her sister, Sıla Doğu.

Dilan Polat’s lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, stated that her client has been experiencing severe psychological difficulties due to public pressure and the accusations against her. Horoz noted that it had become necessary for Polat to seek professional help to protect her mental health.

'STARTED TREATMENT VOLUNTARILY'

Lawyer Sevinç Horoz emphasized that the psychological effects of the allegations and public pressure to which Dilan Polat has been subjected have intensified.

Horoz stated, “My client is struggling mentally due to the grievances she has suffered because of crimes she did not commit and the pressure from the public.

For this reason, she has voluntarily begun a treatment process at a psychiatric facility. We request that her privacy be respected,” she said.

It is not yet known how long Dilan Polat will remain in the psychiatric clinic.
