How is the health of Ferdi Tayfur, who was hospitalized? A statement has been released

Ferdi Tayfur, one of the leading names in Turkish arabesque music, fell ill due to high blood pressure at his home in the Marmaris district of Muğla.

Staff at his home in the Cennet Adası area of Adaköy Neighborhood immediately called medical teams when the artist's condition worsened.

The ambulance that arrived at the house first took Tayfur to a private hospital in Marmaris. Following initial interventions there, the master artist was transferred by ambulance to another private hospital in Muğla for more comprehensive treatment.

HE HAD PREVIOUSLY UNDERGONE A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT AND STENT SURGERY

Ferdi Tayfur, whose health history has been a subject of attention for some time, had a stent placed in his brain vessel during an operation in Antalya 15 days ago and was discharged 4 days ago. In addition, the artist clung to life in 2020 with a kidney donated by his son while he was undergoing dialysis treatment.

It is estimated that the blood pressure issue experienced by the artist, who had retired to rest following his stent surgery, was triggered by this condition.

Tayfur's press consultant, Şirin Gözalıcı, made a statement on social media regarding the master artist's health status. In the message shared on her Instagram account, Gözalıcı included the following statements:

“Mr. Ferdi Tayfur's health is quite good, and he will be kept under observation for a certain period.”
