Serenay Sarıkaya breaks her silence following allegations that dominated the agenda

The allegations of "cartelization and abuse of market dominance," which TV100 columnist Fuat Uğur drew attention to in his September 2024 article, are back on the agenda.

Uğur had claimed that there was a "mafia-like system" in which the same names appeared on TV channels and digital platforms.

Yesterday, it began to be discussed on social media that these allegations were targeting ID İletişim co-founder Ayşe Barım and famous actress Serenay Sarıkaya.

Sarıkaya broke her silence in the face of the allegations and made harsh statements.

'IMMORAL ACCUSATIONS'

In her statement to journalists regarding the matter, Sarıkaya said:

"These allegations are so strange and inconceivable that I cannot find anything to say. Both as ID İletişim and personally, we have taken the matter to court.

Since the process is currently in the judiciary, I do not want to make a detailed statement. However, the accusations directed at us contain direct immoral allegations."

INVESTIGATION BY THE COMPETITION AUTHORITY

Today, the Competition Authority announced that it has launched an investigation into 21 companies as a result of its examination into whether casting agencies violated the "Law on the Protection of Competition." ID İletişim is also among these companies.
