On September 28, 2025, Güllü, who was spending time with her daughter and her friend on the enclosed terrace of the 5th floor of an apartment building located on Vali Akı Street in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Yalova's Çınarcık district, lost her life after falling from the window.

The investigation into the death of the famous artist Gül Tut, known by the stage name "Güllü," is being conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

While no signs of physical assault were found during the artist's autopsy, blood samples were sent to the Council of Forensic Medicine to determine whether she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.

AI-POWERED SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE UNDER REVIEW

As part of the investigation, the recordings from the AI-supported security camera in Güllü's home were sent to the Bursa Regional Criminal Laboratory for examination.

It is noted that this system records when it detects sound and movement, and it is sensitive to human voices; investigators are focusing on the possibility that the cutting of the music in the house might have been caused by this device's features.

SHE FELL IN THE SAME SPOT ONE WEEK AGO

A remarkable piece of information surfaced during the investigation. It was learned that Güllü had slipped and fallen in the same spot in her home one week ago and had gone to the hospital for treatment.

In her statement to the police, she had indicated that she fell because the floor was slippery. The investigation determined that no one other than Güllü, her daughter, and her daughter's friend was in the house at the time of the incident, and there were no signs of physical assault.

Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, in his statement within the scope of the investigation, explained that his sister, Tuyan Ülkem Gülter, called him while he was sleeping at his home in Istanbul, and said the following:

"When I answered the phone, she was screaming. She was pleading, saying, 'Mom fell, the ambulances are here. Mom, mom, come here quickly.' I realized she was not in a condition to talk, so I immediately came to the Çınarcık State Hospital to be with my sister, along with a relative of mine."

Stating that he watched his mother's security camera footage remotely while on the road, Gülter described the event as follows:

"After my mother comes out of the bathroom, she hears loud Roman-style music playing. My mother says, 'Are we ready? Come on, let's get up and dance.' Then my mother goes out of frame.

About a minute later, because I know the sound of our house's window, there is a sound of a window moving. At that moment, my sister says, 'Oh God.' Then my sister and her friend Sultan run out of the apartment barefoot, screaming.

The floors of our apartment are laminate. However, they are very slippery. Both I and my mother have fallen on the floor many times before. The windows in our house are waist-high and are fully opening sliding windows.

Because of this, I think that while my mother wanted to open the window, perhaps under the influence of alcohol, her foot might have slipped and she fell. Also, when my mother drinks alcohol, she loses her balance and falls.

I do not think my mother committed suicide or fell in any other way. My mother was a loving person. She was not on bad terms with anyone."
