Statement from Nihal Candan's ex-husband Faruk Çiçek! 'I made peace with her in intensive care'

Nihal Candan had been hospitalized due to health problems she was experiencing. Candan, who refused treatment and whose weight dropped to 23 kilograms, passed away. Following her death, various allegations regarding Nihal's ex-husband Faruk Çiçek came to the fore.

It was rumored that Nihal Candan's mother, Umut Candan, had made great efforts to get Faruk Çiçek to visit her daughter.

At her daughter's funeral, her mother Umut Candan shed tears for Nihal's ex-husband Faruk Çiçek, saying, “He left my daughter alone. I will never forgive him.”

"WE HAD DECIDED TO SEPARATE"

After these events, Faruk Çiçek broke his silence. Speaking to Berat Aşıcıoğlu from Show TV, Faruk Çiçek said, "We had decided to separate before Nihal went to prison. She did not end up in hospitals because of me. I did not kill Nihal."

Çiçek included the following statements in his explanation:

"Are they dragging my name through the mud just because I didn't stand by someone I was in the process of divorcing, while Nihal was facing other injustices?

Even though I was abroad, I returned and went to the hospital. I was by her side in intensive care, I made peace with her, and I fulfilled my human duty."
