Support for Ekrem İmamoğlu in Volkan Konak's final post!

Volkan Konak, one of the greatest names in folk music in recent times with his unique style, songs performed with occasional poetry readings, compositions, and voice, passed away following a crisis he suffered on stage during a concert he gave in the TRNC.

Following the artist's death, his support for the imprisoned IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, whom he described as a friend, has come to the agenda once again.

In a post he shared on his social media account following İmamoğlu's imprisonment, Volkan Konak had used the following expressions:

"My dear friend Ekrem İmamoğlu was always a goalkeeper even when playing football, why? So as not to turn his back on his teammates. He never compromised his sportsmanship and nobility throughout his life. Shame on those who commit a foul against Mayor Ekrem in politics. He will always remain a very precious friend to me, and I will always stand by him."
