Thunderstorm warning for all of Turkey! What will the weather be like in the new week?

Following sunny weather, rainy weather will be effective this week.

Cengiz Çelik, a weather forecasting expert at the General Directorate of Meteorology of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, made a statement regarding the expected weather conditions for this week.

Çelik stated that according to the latest evaluations, precipitation is expected in the northeastern regions of the country tomorrow and Tuesday, and that there will be precipitation transitions in the Aegean region on Tuesday evening.

THUNDERSTORMS ON THE WAY

Stating that precipitation will be effective throughout the country starting Wednesday, Çelik said, "Intermittent thunderstorms will be effective for 4-5 days until the weekend."

Çelik stated that continuous precipitation will be seen in the northeastern regions of the country throughout the week, and that the precipitation will continue for 1 week in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and throughout the Eastern Anatolia Region.

Reporting that precipitation will begin in the western regions starting Wednesday, and that the precipitation will be strong in the northern and interior parts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Çelik stated that there will be no change in temperatures and that they will continue to hover above seasonal norms.

WEATHER IN THE 3 MAJOR CITIES

Noting that thunderstorms are expected in Ankara starting Wednesday, and that precipitation will be seen on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Çelik said, "The highest temperature in the capital is hovering around 20-22 degrees, but it will rise to 26 degrees on Tuesday with the lodos (southwest wind). Temperatures in Ankara will continue to hover above seasonal norms."

Drawing attention to the fact that thunderstorms will be seen in Istanbul starting Thursday, Çelik stated that the highest temperatures in the city will hover between 19 and 21 degrees throughout the week.

Çelik noted that precipitation transitions are expected in İzmir on Tuesday evening, that thunderstorms will be seen starting Thursday, and that temperatures will be around 25 degrees for 1 week.
