Gendarmerie Commander passes away at 27
First Lieutenant Oğuzhan Varol, the District Gendarmerie Commander serving in the Mudurnu district of Bolu, has passed away at the age of 27 following a heart attack.
First Lieutenant Oğuzhan Varol, who had been serving as the Mudurnu District Gendarmerie Commander for three years, was rushed to the hospital after suddenly falling ill in the morning hours. Following initial intervention by medical teams, Varol was transferred to Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University Training and Research Hospital, where it was determined that he had suffered a heart attack.
Despite all medical efforts, the young commander could not be saved and lost his life. Varol's passing has caused great sorrow in the region and among his colleagues.
It was stated that Oğuzhan Varol's funeral will be taken to his hometown of Beyşehir in Konya to be laid to rest.
