He grew the world's largest cucumber: 14 kilograms in weight

Vince Sjodin, who lives in Wales, has broken a record by growing the world's largest cucumber in his garden.

Weighing approximately 14 kilograms and measuring 1.2 meters in length, the cucumber has become the heaviest in the world.

Sjodin, an agricultural expert who has grown giant vegetables before, said the secret lies in the fresh air of the Vale of Glamorgan region where he lives. Sjodin had previously grown a giant pumpkin.

Proud of his achievements, Sjodin said, “This is a wonderful event. I planted the cucumber in May and grew it inside a net so it could support the weight.” Explaining that he feared the cucumber would be damaged due to weather changes, the man stated that he had lost a giant pumpkin he had grown due to heavy rainfall.

The Guinness World Records will now examine the cucumber for the verification process.
