Heartbreaking scene in Afyonkarahisar: Dog hung by its feet and tortured to death

The incident, which took place in the town of Dişli in the Bolvadin district of Afyonkarahisar, has caused a major outcry among animal lovers and the public. According to the information obtained, a dog was found hanging by its feet from a rope in a gazebo, having been tortured to death.

Animal rights advocates condemned the killing of the dog in this manner and reiterated their call for the perpetrators of the incident to be identified as soon as possible and tried by judicial authorities. Citizens, who are demanding that both judicial and administrative processes be carried out meticulously to find and punish the criminals, have called for more deterrent measures to be taken to prevent such cases.

Ekrem Önder Çiftçi, President of the Eber Lake Lives Association, drew attention to the increase in violence against animals and stated, "We will never give up the fight against this mentality that is hostile to nature, animals, and life. The mindset that harms Eber Lake is the same as the one that hangs a dog by its feet and kills it. This is a heartless and irresponsible approach.
