Investigation launched into Ayşe Barım

 Famous talent manager and co-founder of ID İletişim, Ayşe Barım, has been at the center of a series of controversial allegations in recent days. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Barım, who is specifically accused of blocking the paths of certain artists to provide advantages to her own clients and creating a "cartel order" in the sector.

The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office accepted the allegations appearing on social media and in the press as a formal complaint and took action to uncover the material truth.

HOW DID THE ALLEGATIONS EMERGE?

In an article written in September 2024, TV100 columnist Fuat Uğur claimed that the Competition Authority would conduct raids on production companies and agencies on the grounds of "cartelization and abuse of market dominance." The article voiced criticisms that the same names were always appearing on digital platforms and TV channels. It began to be discussed on social media that these names were ID İletişim and Ayşe Barım.

Barım's name also came to the agenda with allegations that a famous gay male artist had demanded 5 million dollars from his lover in exchange for keeping their relationship secret.

STATEMENT FROM ID İLETİŞİM AND SERENAY SARIKAYA  

In a statement made by ID İletişim, it was stated that Ayşe Barım and Serenay Sarıkaya were being associated with untrue and unethical allegations, and it was argued that this situation was a planned smear campaign. The statement said, "We respectfully announce to the public that legal action has been initiated against those who make and spread these slanders."

Serenay Sarıkaya also supported the statement by sharing it on her social media account.
