Lawsuit from İrem Derici against Burcu Güneş! She revealed what she will do if she wins compensation

The ongoing dispute between İrem Derici and Burcu Güneş has moved to the courtroom. The polemic began with Burcu Güneş's statement in an interview regarding her colleague Demet Akalın, where she said, "I do not see her at a level where she could be a rival to me," while İrem Derici supported Akalın and used a harsh expression regarding Güneş. Following Derici's use of the words "mentally ill," Burcu Güneş filed a 250 thousand TL compensation lawsuit against her.

While this entire legal process is ongoing, İrem Derici broke her silence and shared developments from her side. Speaking in an interview, the famous singer emphasized that there was a lack of communication in what happened. Derici explained the issue she experienced by saying, "I sent her a message saying, 'there was no need for this.' She sent me her number and said, 'let's talk.' But I have a phobia of talking on the phone. I haven't been able to talk on the phone since my intensive care process in 2017."

Stating that she wants to follow a calmer path in her music career, 38-year-old Derici also noted that she is trying to leave her aggressive attitudes of the past behind. She explained that she would donate the compensation she wins to HAYTAP and animal shelters as follows:

“If I win compensation from the lawsuit I filed, I will donate my award to animal shelters.”

Derici also emphasized that she is in favor of a peaceful approach and that having to file a lawsuit was due to a lack of communication.

Making sincere statements regarding her marriage plans, İrem Derici recalled that they got engaged to Melih Kunukcu last February and said that they are not thinking of a wedding this year. Derici sent a message to her fans with the words, "There is no wedding this year. We might have a civil marriage and hold the wedding next year. I would most like to see Sezen Aksu at my wedding."
