Lead roles in 'Cennetin Çocukları' are being recast: Change in the name set to replace İsmail Hacıoğlu

Developments regarding the series 'Cennetin Çocukları' continue to be a hot topic in the television industry. It was recently confirmed that İsmail Hacıoğlu, who was detained in a drug operation and tested positive for drugs, has officially departed from the series.

After the production team decided to part ways with the actor, filming was paused, and a process of radical changes to the storyline was initiated.

Immediately after the lead role became vacant, Alperen Duymaz was considered as the first candidate for the new male lead. However, as an agreement could not be reached between the parties regarding scheduling and contract terms, this choice did not materialize.

According to reports by Birsen Altuntaş, the project team is continuing negotiations with Burak Serdar Şanal for the role. Although a definitive agreement has not yet been reached, the possibility of Şanal joining the series appears strong.

On the other hand, the series' female lead, Özgü Kaya, is also preparing to bid farewell to the team due to adjustments made to the story. It is stated that with the departure of Kaya, who brings the character of Gönül to life, a significant change will occur in the main cast of the series.
