TUIK data shows that people from Sivas once again constitute the largest population group in Istanbul. The population of Sivas origin in Istanbul stands out significantly compared to other provinces. People from Sivas remain the most represented group in Istanbul.
The prominence of Black Sea provinces among the top 10 cities on the list is notable. People from Sivas are followed by those from Kastamonu. The cities with the highest population in Istanbul are listed as Ordu, Giresun, Tokat, Erzurum, Malatya, Samsun, Trabzon, and Sinop, respectively.
On the other hand, the province with the smallest population in the city is Burdur. Burdur's population is at a significantly lower level compared to other provinces on the list. The population of people from Burdur was recorded as 10,425.
