In the Kumluca district of Antalya, a 24-year-old man who had been released from prison on leave under supervised release drowned at sea.
In the Mavikent neighborhood of Antalya's Kumluca district, Celal A., who had gone to Korsan Bay with his friends to cool off, suddenly began to struggle in the water while swimming. Those nearby immediately noticed the situation and notified the authorities.
Medical teams arriving at the scene pulled the young man from the water and performed resuscitation efforts for a long time. However, despite all efforts, Celal A. could not be saved.
It was learned that Celal A., who had come to Kumluca from Şanlıurfa, had been released from prison on temporary leave under supervised release. While the incident caused sadness in the region, an investigation has been launched into the matter.
