Show TV's ambitious production "Rüya Gibi" has decided to air its finale after failing to achieve the expected success in the ratings. The series is ending its screen journey after a short broadcast run.
"Rüya Gibi," which features a star-studded cast including Seda Bakan, Uğur Güneş, Ahsen Eroğlu, Emre Bey, Şebnem Bozoklu, Celil Nalçakan, Devrim Yakut, and Menderes Samancılar, had created high expectations among viewers with its first episodes. The series was initially broadcast on Tuesday nights, but was moved to Sunday evenings following a change in its broadcast day. However, this change and the cast additions failed to provide the expected increase in viewership ratings.
The series, produced by TMC Film, had a 13-episode broadcast guarantee during its production phase. With the filming of the 13th episode, the series' fate was left to the latest developments in the ratings. As the desired results were not achieved in the ratings announced on February 15, it was decided that the series would conclude.
On the other hand, the departure of lead actor Celil Nalçakan from the cast last week was among the notable developments regarding the series. With the decline in viewer interest in recent weeks, the "Rüya Gibi" adventure is coming to an end on television screens.
