Actress Filiz Akın, who has been battling health issues for some time, updated her fans about her health status on her Instagram account.

Akın, who regularly visits the hospital to ensure positive results from her treatment, most recently posted a video she filmed in her hospital room.

Making a statement about her treatment process, the artist wrote the following:

"Good news... As a result of consultations, because of the 3-hour medication given via IV that I had to receive for days at the hospital for my recovery, and the 5 hours I spent waiting, I was spending 8 hours at the hospital. Currently, I will be able to receive the medication and treatment at home. I think I have another 10 days to go for the elimination of a bacterial formation in my throat caused by the long-term administration of heavy antibiotics. I wish us all as good a week as possible."
