Storm warning from Meteorology! Wind speeds to reach 80 km/h

According to forecasts by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather across the country on Tuesday, April 29 (today) is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected in the Aegean (except Kütahya), Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Van and Hakkari), and Southeastern Anatolia regions, as well as in the vicinity of Karaman, Niğde, Konya, Kayseri, Sivas, Ordu, and Tokat.

SHOWERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the vicinity of Denizli, Aydın, Kayseri, and Sivas, as well as in the western parts of Burdur and the inland western parts of Antalya. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the morning and night hours in the south and east of Central Anatolia, the inland parts of the Western Black Sea, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia. Dust transport is expected in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and in Southeastern Anatolia.

WILL REACH 80 KM/H

The wind is expected to blow strongly from the north and northeast in Marmara and the North Aegean coasts, reaching storm force (40-80 km/h). Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms, while dropping locally below seasonal norms in the northern and inland parts.
