Taxi fares increased in Antalya
Antalya Chamber of Drivers President Mehmet Ali Alkan stated that the new tariff will be effective in the city center starting June 1, and in the districts starting May 15.
Antalya Chamber of Drivers President Mehmet Ali Alkan announced that a new, increased tariff has been adopted due to rising costs, and as of June 1, the taxi meter opening fee in the city center has increased from 20 TL to 25 TL, while the per-kilometer rate is now 30 TL.
Alkan stated that the transition date for the tariff in the districts will be May 15.
WILL BE EFFECTIVE STARTING JUNE 1
Announcing the decision on his social media account, Alkan stated, "Due to rising costs, and in order to prevent further grievances for our taxi tradesmen, under the leadership of our Union President Adlıhan Dere and together with all our district chamber presidents, a taxi meter price hike has been secured for our tradesmen in the center and districts, effective June 1."
The new tariff is as follows: Taxi meter opening: 25 TL, per-kilometer rate: 30 TL, unit meter (100m): 3 TL, hourly rate: 120 TL, short-distance fee: 100 TL, unit time (1 minute): 2 TL.
