New information continues to emerge daily regarding the investigation into the Engin Polat and Dilan Polat couple. Details regarding why Dilan Polat and Engin Polat changed their addresses, as stated in their police testimonies, have become clear.

'OUR LAWYER REQUESTED IT'

Dilan Polat, who was detained in Çekmeköy along with her husband Engin Polat and her sister Sıla Doğu during the operation, gave a 31-page statement to the police. One of the questions directed at her concerned the change of address.

Dilan Polat replied, “This was done at the request of our lawyer.”

'MY FATHER'S ADDRESS'

Engin Polat, who gave a 43-page statement to the police, answered the question about the change of address by saying, “The address in Sancaktepe is my father's address. It is for the purpose of receiving and being notified of legal notices.”

During the inquiry, the dates of the Dilan and Engin Polat couple's address changes were also revealed.

Dilan Polat resided in Ataşehir between March 31, 2021, and October 6, 2023. She changed her address on October 6, making her new address Beykoz.

'THEY MOVED BEFORE THE OPERATION'

It was learned that Engin Polat had lived with Dilan Polat in their home in Ataşehir between March 5, 2021, and October 27, 2023. Engin Polat changed his address on October 27, registering his residence in Sancaktepe.
