Members of Parliament emphasized that the government needs to develop a news strategy suitable for the young population in order to prevent the spread of misinformation among youth. The Culture and Media Committee called for the creation of new applications and platforms aimed at the young population, who are moving away from traditional news sources.

Experts stated that short-video and text-based social media platforms like TikTok pave the way for the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories among young people.
