Tragic end before the wedding: Bride and groom found dead in the bathroom

It has been reported that Ayşegül Maral (20) and Fatih Özaslan (34) lost their lives this morning, following the henna night held last night in the village of Küçükalan in Çavdır. The lifeless bodies of the couple, who were preparing for their wedding ceremony today in the first home they would share, were discovered in the bathroom by their families.

THEIR RELATIVES ENCOUNTERED A DEVASTATING SCENE

When the couple could not be reached around 09:30 in the morning, their relatives arrived at the house and found Maral and Özaslan lying motionless in the bathroom. Medical teams called to the scene determined that the young couple had passed away. During the initial investigation, teams focused on the possibility that the pair may have been electrocuted and have launched a comprehensive investigation at the house.

POSSIBILITY OF AN ELECTRICAL LEAK FROM THE WATER HEATER

Technical checks were conducted at the house where the incident occurred, specifically regarding the water heater. Initial findings suggest that the two young people may have lost their lives due to an electrical leak from the water heater while in the bathroom.

Following the investigations at the house, the bodies of Ayşegül Maral and Fatih Özaslan were taken to the forensic morgue. The Gendarmerie stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and that the exact cause of death will be clarified following an autopsy. While the village of Küçükalan and the couple's relatives are in deep mourning, the incident has once again highlighted the need for caution when using electrical household appliances.
