He almost lost his life while asking for a lighter: Left in a coma after one slap!

The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 19, at approximately 04:15 in Şişli Mecidiyeköy. 

According to allegations, Bilgin H., who went to a venue at night, left in the early hours of the morning after drinking and having fun. Naif T. stopped the man as he was walking home and asked for a lighter. 

However, an argument broke out between the two. As the incident escalated, the two began swearing at each other. At that moment, Naif T. slapped Bilgin H. hard. The man, who collapsed to the ground from the force of the slap, hit his head hard against the ground.

LEFT IN A COMA

Naif T. tried to lift the man, who had lost consciousness, by his arm but was unsuccessful. The moment of the incident was captured on camera second by second. Following the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The health teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, provided initial intervention to Bilgin H., who had suffered a brain hemorrhage, and then transported him to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. It was learned that the man, who was taken to intensive care after surgery, had fallen into a coma. It was learned that Bilgin H. has been receiving treatment in the hospital for approximately 1 month.

SENT TO PRISON

On the other hand, the police teams working on the incident detained the attacker, Naif T. It was learned that the individual, who gave his statement at the police station, said that he asked the man for a lighter, that they argued when he did not give it, and that he slapped him. Stating that the man hit his head on the ground, Naif T. expressed that he remained motionless. The individual, whose judicial proceedings were completed, was arrested by the court he was referred to on charges of "intentional injury" and sent to prison.
