The TRNC Ministry of Health announced that the famous artist Volkan Konak has passed away. The artist, who suffered a heart attack during his concert in the TRNC, died at the age of 58 at the hospital where he was taken.
The statement made by the Ministry is as follows:
“Artist Volkan Konak, who was admitted to Mağusa State Hospital at 00:17 due to a sudden illness tonight, unfortunately passed away at 00:42 despite all interventions. A detailed statement will be made in writing by the Chief Physician's Office of Mağusa State Hospital.”
