Young man who died after tractor overturned laid to rest

In the accident that occurred yesterday morning on İzzet Baysal Street in the Büyük Cami neighborhood, the tractor driven by 32-year-old Emre Çiftçi lost control while descending a ramp due to the ground becoming slippery from rain, and subsequently overturned. The driver, Emre Çiftçi, and Nezaket Çiftçi, who was in the tractor trailer, were trapped under the overturned vehicle and injured. With the help of emergency medical teams and local citizens who arrived at the scene following reports, the two individuals were rescued and taken by ambulance to the Köroğlu Unit of İzzet Baysal State Hospital. Despite all medical interventions, Emre Çiftçi could not be saved and passed away.

The moments the tractor overturned were captured second-by-second on security cameras. The footage shows the tractor losing control, hitting a pole, and flipping over, with Emre Çiftçi being trapped under the vehicle.

Emre Çiftçi’s funeral was held at the Büyük Berk Village Mosque, and he was laid to rest in the village cemetery following the funeral prayer. A large number of citizens and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the funeral.
