1 person arrested in Beyoğlu altercation

Teams from the Beyoğlu District Police Department conducted an investigation to apprehend the suspects who fled after firing a weapon at an individual during an altercation in Hacımimi Neighborhood on December 21. Reviewing security cameras in the area, the teams captured R.S., B.D., and T.Y., who were identified as being involved in the incident.

THEY HAD A FEUD

The investigation revealed that R.S. and B.D. had sought help from a woman named T.Y. to lure S.A., with whom they had a feud due to a previous altercation, into a trap.

It was determined that T.Y. came to the park where the incident occurred to meet S.A., whom she had met on social media, and that S.A., suspicious of the situation, had called his friends to the park beforehand.

ALL DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT WERE LEARNED

It was understood that while T.Y. was waiting, R.S. and B.D. ran toward the park with a gun in hand; S.A.'s friends, realizing the situation, chased the suspects; during the chase, B.D. stopped a taxi, R.S. fired his weapon, and the suspects then fled the scene in the taxi they had boarded.

Following their processing at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where R.S. was arrested, while B.D. and T.Y. were released under judicial control conditions.

Meanwhile, the moment the incident occurred was recorded by a security camera at a nearby business.
