3 illegal mines destroyed!
The Zonguldak Governor's Office stated that inspections were carried out on mines in the city that were reported to be operating illegally. Accordingly, 3 illegal mines were shut down.
According to the statement made by the Zonguldak Governor's Office, teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted operations targeting mines operating without a license.
As a result of the operations, 2 cranes, a wagon, shovels, 40 meters of rail, and 10 tons of coal were seized at 3 mines determined to be operating without a license in the city center and the Kilimli district.
The mines were destroyed by teams from the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK).
The seized materials were handed over to the Regional Directorate of Forestry teams, as the mines were located within forest boundaries.
