According to a statement on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 5.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 01:37 with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea.
The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers, was reported to be 147.56 kilometers away from the nearest land, the Bodrum district of Muğla.
According to initial assessments, no negative incidents occurred due to the earthquake.
