AKP town head dies in two-vehicle collision
Tacettin Karamercan, the AKP Aydınlar town head, has died in the hospital after being injured in a two-vehicle collision in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis.
According to the information received, the accident occurred at the exit of the Adilcevaz district. The car carrying former Aydınlar Town Mayor Mehmet Arif Tusun and AKP Aydınlar Town Head Tacettin Karamercan collided head-on with a light commercial vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

In the accident, the two officials and 5 people in the light commercial vehicle were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals in surrounding districts, primarily in Adilcevaz. Among the injured taken to Adilcevaz Oncology Hospital, AKP Aydınlar Town Head Tacettin Karamercan lost his life despite all interventions.

Following the news of Karamercan's death, his relatives and many party members arrived at the hospital. It was stated that Karamercan would be buried in the town after an autopsy is performed.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM CEVDET YILMAZ
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz expressed his condolences for AKP Aydınlar Town Head Tacettin Karamercan, who lost his life in the traffic accident that occurred in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis.
In a post on his social media account, Yılmaz stated, "I wish God's mercy upon AK Party Aydınlar Town Head Tacettin Karamercan, who lost his life as a result of a traffic accident in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis, and I extend my condolences to his relatives and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
